Why baseline interests me
A result becomes more interesting when I can ask what sustains it.
Starting conditions
A large improvement makes a satisfying story. The tesamorelin withdrawal finding gives it an awkward, useful continuation: visceral fat reaccumulated when treatment stopped. Maintaining an improvement
A useful treatment can reasonably require continuation. Chronic conditions can require continuing care. Leaving duration, monitoring and adverse effects out of the story makes the improvement hard to assess.
The attraction of a fresh start is understandable. A smaller fat measurement or a lower body weight can look like an arrival. The later visit interests me more, along with the question of whether a change that looks desirable on paper remains worthwhile for the person living with it. That judgment needs an individual clinical conversation. A general research result cannot conduct it.
